Thesis Statement
The views of W.E.B Du Bois with Langston Hughes converged around the potential of the black people in the work place, and in society. They both had strong views pertaining to the advancements of the black community through staying true to remaining more "black" and looking at their race as a blessing and not a "misfortune."

Sounds good, Du Bois is probably going to be your main source since he was the social scientist, Hughes was a poet, of course you are free to use him as much as you want. Someone else you might want to check out is Paul Robeson, even just for background information. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Robeson
ReplyDeleteHe is one of those guys who could basically do anything, he also went to my college, Rutgers. Besides that, try to focus the thesis more into a specific argument or a point that you are trying to persuade people of.
